We look to address food insecurity, we considered how to utilize an integrated approach for impacting economic mobility and the community at large. The idea proposed for this unlikely alliance was to explore social entrepreneurship solutions to address food insecurity challenges in one of the food deserts in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, the West Boulevard Corridor.

Circulate, LLC founded in 2021 at its core is a logistics company that operates a network of Application Program Interface (API) couriers who will produce and deliver fresh foods locally to under-served communities in “food deserts”. We hope to pioneer the on-demand non-profit food delivery movement by offering delivery from food banks, local restaurants, and store partners.

We aim to increase the distribution and sale of locally-grown and healthy food items to neighborhood-based stores that are accessible to all groups of people. Our Initiative Program will connect with stores, restaurants, and food banks via strategic partnerships.  These alignments will focus on creating eco-friendly, locally grown fresh produce, with financial incentives that are deliverable within a geo-tagged range.
